I has Facebook’s!!!

If you are one of those people who use Facebook more than you care to admit (you know who you are) I have now setup a Facebook community page as another way to follow the posts on this site. However don’t worry if you don’t like Facebook as the page is only a mirror of what is posted on this site so you won’t miss anything if you just stay here…

Check it out at https://www.facebook.com/GroupPolicy

Group Policy Center turns 1… Thanks

I am very happy to say that the Group Policy Center has now been running for over one year. The  growth in the past 12 months has been fantastic and I would like to thank everyone who has ever visited and/or commented on an article on this site.

Below I have posted some interesting sites about this site for the first year:

Once again thank you for your support and I am looking forward to pumping out many more posts in 2011.

Congratulation Aaron Parker – MVP

Congratulation to Aaron Parker who has just been awarded a well deserved  MVP status in Application Virtualisation. If you have ever wanted to know more about Microsoft App-V and were looking for a good web site with lots of useful information then definitely check out his blog at http://blog.stealthpuppy.com .  This site is full of App-V recipes and tip and trick including a really great FAQ section for any of those common question.

Welcome… The Group Policy Center is a web site I have made to publish all the tip’s, tricks and how-to’s that I have learnt over years using Group Policy. I hope that you find this web site valuable for all your Group Policy needs. Feedback (good and bad), question’s and comments are most welcome on the site…

For your convenience I have listed the most popular articles on this site below group by topic. If what you are looking for is not listed then go to the Archives option in the menu bar above or just use the search field at the top right. If you still can’t find something about Group Policy you are looking for then send me an email via the contact form and I will try and help…

Run As Radio (Podcast) – Listen to me talk about Group Policy Preferences

imageOn my recent trip to New Zealand to speak a TechEd 2010 I managed to record a podcast with Richard Campbell for the RunAs Radio podcast.

The conversation explores how group policy can now be used to map drives, printers and other features, leading to the virtual elimination of login scripts.

If you would like to listen to the podcast then head on over to http://www.runasradio.com/default.aspx?showNum=178 or subscribe to it on iTunes here
